Welcome to the Year 2000 Diary Page...

The Diary Page is a running Diary of Events that I report as they come up to keep you informed with what is currently happening with the project. There is one exception to this as it deserves a special notice. The project took a major step forward in April when Vicky Sadler got involved with the project. As I.T. Manager, Vicky structured the project, and has just produced our first project newsletter. In a very short space of time Vicky has proved to be an extremely valued member of my team.

Disability Interviews..!   (2000-November)

I was invited to take part in an Art Technology & Disability interview. Written by Jane Berliss-Vincent of the World Institute on Disability, it gave myself and two other artists the chance to share our experience with others.

Project Reaches Australia..!   (2000-November)

Journalist Rebbeca Stant has just written my profile for a popular disability website in Australia called Inspire. The Inspire Website is a site dedicated to providing people with disabilities a place to show, and share, all types of creative expression. Devon Link disability magazine have published a centre spread, two page article about my Music project in their latest publication.

BigExpression WebRing..!   (2000-August-10)

The BigExpression WebRing was launched today. A WebRing is where a number of Internet websites of the same type link together. The BigExpression WebRing is the first to be created for Disabled Artists & Performers.

LLTV Production..!   (2000-August-07)

I was interviewed today by Lee Bowyer from Local Life T.V.. The interview was recorded to announce the completion of the Empty School-Yard Pop Video, which LLTV recorded.

Roland Bonus..!   (2000-August-01)

Roland UK again confirmed their sponsorship of my Music Project by donating an MC-303 & MC-80EX to help with the sound track I have been asked to write.

Important Announcement.!   (July 2000)

I am delighted to have been given permission to announce that world famous recording artist Johnette Napolitano of Talking Heads - Concrete Blonde - Pretty & Twisted fame, is recording my song Cruel World. The track will be available for download in support of the Music Project.

Radio Derby Review.!   (2000-July 27)

I was interviewed by John Holmes on Radio Derby today following the Press Release announcement of the completion of my pop video for the song Empty School-Yard. That's Esther..!   (2000-July-17)

I received a phone call from John Ramos today after emailing the program about the work I am doing to set up MOBY, which is our Mobile Recording Studio) project, which would be Free to the disabled. I am hoping the show will cover the story.

Calne Exhibition...!   (2000-June 10 - 16th)

My music was included in an exhibition of work created by disabled artists, and organised by the Calne Access For All Group called A Celebration of Diversity. The event was a six day event, held at the Town Hall.

Live365.com...!   (2000-June-04)

Today saw seven on my tracks go live by being broadcast 24 hours a day on Live365.com The website allows a musician to upload files and set up a live radio broadcast online. Over 300 meg storage is allowed, with links back to your website, and availability to buy tracks online. To check out my broadcast Tune in to my Broadcast.

Russian Radio...!   (2000-May-31)

I have sent out a copy of my album after been approached today by Yuri Burnosov from Russia who has asked for a copy to play on his FM show on Europe Plus... Yuri has plans to write some articles about my project in underground magazines.

C.D. Review...!   (2000-Apr-23)

The first review of my latest album Really Under Rated has been published in the current edition of Sound On Sound Magazine (May 2000)

LLTV Feature...!   (2000-Mar-23)

Today saw the first broadcast of two features concerning the launch of my new album, filmed for showing on the Local Life news on Cable & Wireless, for the Derby area. The item will be broadcast a number of times over the next week.

Pop Video Day Two...!   (2000-Mar-16)

Today saw the completion of filming the Empty School-Yard, pop video on location. Our thanks go to Green Watch, of the Derby Fire Brigade, for their assistance in simulating rain.

Big Day...!   (2000-Mar-13)

It was a big day for the project today with the official release of my Album Really Under Rated, and a telephone interview with John Holmes, on BBC Radio Derby. Sections of three songs were played during the interview.

Carlton News...!   (2000-Mar-10)

The project was highlighted on the Six o'clock news this evening, with scenes filmed at my home and Sunnyhill Infants.

Sunnyhill Infants School...!   (2000-Mar-10)

Today was a busy day as Sunnyhill Infants took part in a pop video being filmed by Local Life T.V.. I visited the school in order to thank Suzanne Flack (Headmistress), for her work in approaching the childrens parents for their consent, prior to taking part. I wanted to personally thank the children, as they were the main focus of my song Empty School-Yard. Fun was had by all, with the added excitement of a film crew from Carlton TV. More location filming is planned next week. The finished profect will be included on the C.D. single when released in the very near future.

A5000 Sampler...!   (2000-Mar-02)

After informing Andrew Kemble of Yamaha - Kemble Music (UK) Ltd, of being approached to score the music for the Dr Who documentary. The company have supplied a new A5000 Sampler to assist the project.   View the Yamaha A5000 Sampler

Local Life T.V. Goes Pop...!   (2000-Mar-02)

After getting a call today from LLTV, a production meeting was called, and it was confirmed that LLTV are going to film a Pop Video, for the Empty School-Yard track. Filming is due to take place on the 10th March.

Local PR...!   (2000-Feb-24)

After initially contacting Progress Records for advice, I had a meeting today with their press agent Charlotte Hancock, who is currently working part time whilst studying for her PR degree at the Leeds Metropolitan University. Charlotte has agreed to help with local PR for the project.

EyeTech Graphics...!   (2000-Feb-12)

After discussing my project with Richard Krawiec owner of EyeTech Graphics, I received an offer to supply advertising posters for the Album released on 13th March 2000.

The Definitive Dr Who...!   (2000-Feb-01)

A new documentary project is under way covering the history of the long running sci-fi series Dr Who. I have been asked by producer Brendan Sheppard to score the music for the documentary called The Definitive Dr Who It is a major International project which I am grateful to be a part of the definitive Dr Who documentary.

Local Life T.V...!   (2000-Jan-29)

I was visited today by the LLTV film crew who filmed a feature about the Music Project and impending release of the Really Under Rated on the 13th March 2000. I will post details later about broadcast dates.

The Stage...!   (2000-Jan-20)
