Let me introduce you to the Moby Project.

More information will be available on the new www.mobyproject.com website.

Well what is MOBY ?

The Moby Project is our Mobile Recording Studio project that we are in the process of setting up, which will offer a FREE mobile recording service to the disabled.

The Moby Project is a totally independant part of my music project, and as such, all funds, donations, grants, and awards, will go directly to its setting up and running costs.

Who would benefit from MOBY ?

I can see many area's of benefit for the disabled. Individuals, Schools, Charities, Projects, and Organisations immediately come to mind. I can also see where it could be used as a valuable teaching aid.

How will we finance MOBY ?

We hope to obtain funds from Grants, Awards, and from our own fund-raising. We also hope to attract sponsorship, and donations. We have introduced one of the largest collections of Nokia Ringtones, Picture Messages, Logo's, Screen Savers, Startup Logo's. We also plan to offer our recording studio to the able bodied at industry rates.

It is the interest shown by the Arts Council of England and the local East Midlands Arts Council, that has prompted me to actively start fund raising to get the project underway.

What is the history behind MOBY

This is the most exciting step the The Horizontal Paul Music Project has taken since I first started three years ago..   Read MOBY History

What form will MOBY take..?

MOBY will be housed in one of the following forms.

  • A large, self contained, Removals or HGV type vehicle, or
  • A Porta-Cabin type arrangemnt, transported to pre-arranged access points.
What help will be available ?

A Sound Engineer and Nursing facilities will be provided to help assist.

What can I do to help ?

There is a lot of work to do, and we need the help of both the disability organisations and the music industry professionals.

There is no doubt that we need finance to do a feasability study. These are some of the initial points that need to be clarified.

  • What is the demand for this service
  • Is it possible to build a good studio into a vehicle or porta-cabin.
  • What would be the setting up, and running cost.
Who do I contact for information, or to help.
