Could I make a difference, to the things that we see

I would wish for World Peace, put and end to all war
But then the Soldiers and Generals, would bang at my door

No Army, or Navy, nor Air Force to keep
Their weapons would go rusty, all piled in a heap

The factories could close down, munitions no more
But the Workers and Bosses would bang at my door
* * *
I would wish us be Healthy, a cure for the flu
And cloning our bodies, would fix us like new

No rejection from transplants, cancer no more
But then the Nurses and Doctors, would bang at my door
* * *
I would legalise the drugs, that all addicts must take
To destroy all the profit, the drug barons make
* * *
I'd wish an end to all Poverty, just to even the score
But then the Policemen and Judges, would bang at my door
* * *
There is always a feedback, from the judgements we make
Never agreement, in descisions we take
* * *
But the worst that can happen, at the end of it all
Would be to never try making, a difference at all
